Collectorate of Customs Hyderabad


Introduction

The Hyderabad Collectorate was established in February, 1967. Geographically, the jurisdiction of Hyderabad Collectorate extends to the whole of province of Sindh, excluding the civil divisions of Karachi. The Collectorate of Customs, Sales Tax and Central Excise is a composite Collectorate responsible for the collection of all three indirect taxes viz: The Customs, Sales Tax and Central excise.
 

Jurisdiction

Hyderabad Collectorate was established in February 1967. Geographically, the jurisdiction of Hyderabad Collectorate extends to the whole of province of Sindh, excluding civil division of Karachi. This is a composite Collectorate, dealing with all three indirect taxes, viz: Custom, Sales Tax & Central Excise. The Customs side of the Collectorate consists of two Dry Ports, bonded warehouses and three Anti-Smuggling Mobile Squads.
