The Federal
Government has issued a notification SRO
946(I)/2008 dated 04.09.2008 whereby
regulatory duty equivalent to the Price
Differential Claims (PDC), in Rupees per
litre, of High Speed Diesel (HSD) and
Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) as notified
by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural
Resources, plus 1% of prevalent consumer
price to cover for foreign exchange
loss, shall be levied on export of HSD
and SKO to Afghanistan as per rates
given in the following Table:-

2.
The rates given the table shall remain
inforce till an amendment is made by the
Ministry of Petroleum and Natural
resources on the basis of their

3. The
exports of HSD & SKO made to Afghanistan
shall be contingent upon strict
adherence to the procedure, terms and
conditions laid down in the Export
Policy Order. |

IMPORT OF
MINERAL OIL FOR AGRICULTURE EXEMPTS FROM
5% CUSTOMS DUTY
|
|
Federal Government
has exempted 5% customs duty on import
of mineral oil by persons registered
with Plant Protection Department as
importer, formulator or manufacturer of
pesticides, if imported by October,
2008, by issuing Notification (Customs)
/ SRO 892(I)/2008 dated 27th August,
2008 amending SRO 567(I)/2006 dated
05-06-2006 for its use as an adjuvant
for the effective control of attack of
Mealy Bug on cotton crop.
